What would be the value of:

19stats/17res/8 anni

18/13/5 anni

14%ed 11%dur dusk(no sockets)

Also, would it be better to make fortitude in the dusk mentioned above or a normal 521 defense archon plate?

With a socket quest adding 4 about 3-4 ist.

As superior armors always have max base defense:

Dusk Forti = 467 def with 214ED = 1000

Ap Forti = 521 def with 200 ED = 1561

I'd say the AP as well as non-superior rws are cheaper to repair (my 15ed/15durability fortitude costs 2million to repair from almost broke).

E: Damn fortitudes el adds 15 defense, not sure where that goes in the forumlae, I *THINK* it gets multiplied through the ED, still the AP should have more defense.|||Quote:

As for which one you make it in, it depends on the other items your char is using. If you are going to be needing more than 103 str for the other items, than you might as well use the AP since it has higher defense. Otherwise, save the 26 stat points in strength and make it in the DS|||Quote:

Yes I forgot to reaply the base defense back on the first one, and I'm not sure how I got 61 and not 63 on the arcon plate, might of hit 520 in the calculator I spose.

So the el does get added last?|||I have the str required to use an ap. The dusk shroud shows me 533 defense though. I'm kind of confused with the calculations here. Defense wise wouldn't I get:

533+200%=1599

with the dusk I have? The only reason I hesitate to do this is because of the repair costs, I have a CoH in a sup AP and it costs over 50k to repair just a single point of durability.

You don't apply the whole of the 533 by 200Edef as that number already has 14Edef added onto it. It will combine to make 214Edef based on the base, which is

(533/114)*100 = 467.54.....

You then take this number and apply the total Edef to it, the 'natural' 14 and the runewords 200 making 214Edef so

(467/100) * 314 = 1466.38.

Then apprently add el's 15 at the end so 1481.

Edit: If you don't understand what the math did. The first one took the current showed defense (which is 114% of the base) and devided it by 114 to make 1% then times it by 100 to find out the base.

The second took the base back to 1% before multiplying it by 100+the EDef (In this case 314 (100% = base, 214 ed = 314%), to find out the total defense before applying el.|||Ah ok. So definitely AP then.|||As for the repair costs, just use a ral rune. Ral + Armor in cube gives fully repaired armor. Thank god for this, otherwise I would be spending like 1.2 mil to repair my 15ed 13 edur Fort DS|||I use a 15ed Forti Sacred Armor for my ww barb.. ehm.. I LOVE RAL RUNES!!!
