thx|||the staff is selfuse only. Any 2coldskills orb beats its. And I cant think of a single good runeword for 6 sockets.. ?

the coronet has some value, not sure how much though. its in the 1-10 ists range though...

Peace|||yeah couldn't think of one to so i was hoping it would be valueble with something else thx again|||The problem with staves is that you have to overcome the benefits of a regular orb (use occy as the standard) with a Spirit Shield. So you are looking at overcoming + 5 skills, 55% Cold Light Poison Res, 20 Fire Res, 55-65 FCR, 42 Vitality, 20 Energy, around 100 mana on top of that, 55 FHR, 50 MF and a bunch of defense. I don't really think there's a staff roll in the game that can stand up to that in terms of all around awesomeness, people just use a staff sometimes to be different, but I don't see how you could really trade it|||For lower levels...|||The only staffs you really want to keep for resale value are prebuff staffs. For prebuff staffs you looking for two kinds--ES and enchant. ES you want white staffs with 4os and +3 ES (energy shield) along with other useful mods which can raise the value, like the cold armors.

For enchant prebuff gear, you are looking for magical orbs with +3 fire skills/+3 enchant and other useful mods like +fire mastery. Like scrolling points out, there aren't other white/r/w or magical staffs/orbs that can really top easily available unq orbs (occy) + a spirit shield.

People sometimes look for magical orbs that will boost a main attack skill like blizzard/FO/FB or Light on occasion so keep an eye out for those as well-But again its hard to beat either fathom or a good roll eschuta's even with those. Those almost always have to have +20 fcr on them as well to be sellable. So it would look something like +2 sorc/+3 blizzard/+20 fcr and ideally you want it to get 2os from the socket quest. Keep in mind, these are magic orbs--Not staffs here, would would be beat by the trusty unq orb/spirit combo

The pally helm is self-use. It lacks str/life. Even if it were going to a melee pally compare it to a shako (dirt cheap), which would you use? If you can't say I would take my helm over the shako 100% of the time--Its not tradable.|||Quote:

Was this a reply to me? If it was, then even then I would take a spirit sword + lidless over it any day. The main selling point of this staff is the 6 sockets to put 6 facets in, but at low levels you can't even use those.
